Monitoring and evaluation

• Ex-ante evaluations, aimed at improving the design of European programs, prior to their implementation.
• Thematic evaluations carried out during programming. Some are mandatory (mid-term evaluations), while others are voluntary (impact assessments, evaluation of specific measures). They enable us to take a step back from the execution of our programs and improve their implementation as we go along.
• Support for the drafting of annual implementation reports (RAMO), in simplified or enhanced versions. These contain key information on program implementation, and analyze the extent to which the objectives set at the start of the program have been achieved.
• Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs), which help to ensure that the environment is taken into account in the design of European programs.
• Design of monitoring-evaluation tools (complete monitoring-evaluation system, steering tools, etc.).
