Data controller

BRL Ingénierie (BRLI) is responsible for the processing of personal data carried out in order to enable the transmission of information on BRLI projects or offers, to apply for a job with BRLI and/or to manage contact requests or complaints.

Purposes and legal basis

The purposes for which BRLI processes your personal data and the legal basis for such processing: Marketing = Our legitimate interest or your consent if required by regulation. Recruitment = The performance of pre-contractual obligations and our legitimate interest. Management of contact requests = Our legitimate interest. Management of contracts and orders = The performance of our contractual relationship and our legitimate interest. Management of any disputes = The performance of our contractual relationship and our legitimate interest. Management of promotional and loyalty operations = The performance of our contractual relationship and our legitimate interest.

Data Protection Officer

BRL Ingénierie has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is shared with BRL Ingénierie. Data recipients

Your personal data is mainly communicated/accessible to the Human Resources Department, the Information Systems Department, the General Management of BRL Ingénierie and the Sales Department of BRL Ingénierie. Your personal data may only be communicated to third parties (e.g. for hosting and IT maintenance purposes) for the above-mentioned purposes. Subcontractors acting on BRLI's instructions will be required to implement appropriate protection measures. If BRLI uses subcontractors located in countries whose regulations do not offer an adequate level of protection in terms of personal data protection, BRLI will ensure that these transfers are carried out in accordance with French regulatory requirements (for example, implementation of contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission). You can contact our Data Protection Officer to obtain further information on these subjects and a copy of the relevant documents.

Retention period

Personal data processed by BRL Ingénierie is kept for the time necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes, in accordance with applicable regulations:

  • data relating to customers is kept for the duration of the commercial relationship plus the period of prescription;
  • data relating to commercial prospecting is kept for three years from the last contact;
  • data relating to unsuccessful job applicants is kept for two years. For other subjects, the data collected is not retained once the request has been processed.

The information collected by BRLI and which is essential to meet the aforementioned purposes is identified by an asterisk on the collection forms. If you do not complete these mandatory fields, BRLI may not be able to provide the service concerned.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to and rectification of your personal data held by BRLI; You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, if :

  • you contest the accuracy of your data for the period of time necessary for us to verify its accuracy;
  • you consider that we are processing your data unlawfully and you request that we restrict their use rather than erase them;
  • we no longer need your data for the purposes described above, but it is still necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of your legal rights;
  • if you exercise your right to object while we check whether the legitimate reasons we are pursuing override yours.

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. Should you request the deletion of your data, BRLI may nevertheless keep it in an intermediate archive for the time necessary to meet its legal, accounting and tax obligations. You have the right to ask to exercise your right to object to data being processed for legitimate reasons. You have the right to exercise your right to data portability, which gives you the right to obtain a copy of your data or to transfer it to a third party in a structured and commonly used machine-readable format. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, at any time, where the processing requires your consent. However, withdrawing your consent may, in practice and depending on the case, affect your relationship with BRLI.

You also have the right to formulate specific or general directives concerning the conservation, deletion and communication of your personal data post-mortem. General directives (concerning all personal data relating to the person concerned) may be registered with a trusted digital third party certified by the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).
