Gikuka and Waga hydroelectric power stations

UNIDO has entrusted BRL Ingénierie with the detailed design of hydroelectric power plants for two sites in Burundi: Gikuka (2 MW), Makamba province & Waga (0.6 MW), Mwaro province.

Tasks performed include:

• Detailed topographical surveys for each site;
• Geotechnical investigations for each site;
• Feasibility study for the 2 sites;
• Detailed studies for the 2 sites.
