Bringing electricity to more than half a million Togolese people
Joint development of the PERECUT project monitoring and evaluation system
Project
description
The Togolese government's five-year roadmap calls for at least 75% of the population to have access to electricity by 2025. The Programme d'Extension des Réseaux Electriques des Centres Urbains (PERECUT) aims to provide access to electricity for more than half a million Togolese, by reinforcing the coverage of the electricity network in 53 urban centers.
Missions
& Services
With a budget of €70 million over 5 years, PERECUT will enable the construction of 190 km of medium-voltage networks, 381 MV/LV transformer substations and 1,660 km of low-voltage networks. BRL Ingénierie is in charge of designing and implementing the project's monitoring and evaluation system.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDD) of the United Nations

"A simple, reliable and operational monitoring and evaluation system is essential for the successful implementation of a large-scale development project. It will contribute to PERECUT's success, through access to electricity and improved living conditions and economic development for the Togolese population."
