The 26th ICID Congress was a success: over 1,100 participants from around the world, lectures, round-table discussions, technical exchanges and highly enriching sharing of experiences, which helped to identify positive avenues for development in irrigated agriculture across numerous fields: agroecology, REUT, water resource management… in line with the OneWaterVision concept. It was an opportunity for BRL Ingénierie to meet with partners and clients and to reaffirm its involvement in the COSTEA Think Tank, which provides an essential framework for addressing current challenges particularly those linked to climate change and helps to translate scientific knowledge into practical applications. We were delighted to show our national and international visitors around the Aristide Dumont pumping station, one of the largest in Europe, built and operated by the BRL Group. It exemplifies a model of land-use planning designed to last and capable of evolving to adapt to climate change. It also demonstrates that a model combining project management, engineering and operations delivers robust results!
